Step 4 — Apply the Nail
Place the press-on slightly above your cuticle and gently press down. Hold firmly for about 10–15 seconds.

Removal
What You’ll Need
- Warm water
- Cuticle oil or your preferred nail oil
- Wooden cuticle stick
-
Nail polish remover/acetone (optional)
Step 1 — Soak
Fill a bowl with warm, soapy water and add a little cuticle oil. Soak your nails for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2 — Loosen the Press-On
Gently work a cuticle stick around the edges of the press-on. If it doesn’t lift easily, soak your nails longer.
Step 3 — Remove
Once the glue has loosened, gently slide the press-on off. Never pull or pry it off.
Step 4 — Clean Your Nails
Remove any remaining glue gently with a buffer or nail file. Finish with cuticle oil to moisturize your natural nails.
Tip: If your nails are still difficult to remove, soak them again rather than forcing them. Never force or rip off your press-ons. Removing them gently helps protect your natural nails.

Treat them with care, and they can be worn again and again.
If You Have A Sizing Kit
Use my sizing kit to find the number that fits each natural nail. Match each nail from thumb to pinky and record your sizes. Measure every nail individually. Your left and right hands may have different sizes. When in doubt, size up! A press-on that is slightly too large can be filed down for a better fit.
How to Adjust Premade Sets
If the Press-On Is Slightly Too Big
Use a nail file to gently file the sides of the press-on until it fits your natural nail. File a little at a time and check the fit frequently. Do Not File Too Much At Once.
If the Press-On Is Slightly Too Small
For a press-on that is only slightly too narrow, you can try the warm-water method:
- Place the press-on a WARM water for a short time to soften the plastic.
- Carefully and gently widen the nail while it is warm.
- Allow it to cool and set in the new shape.
- Check the fit against your natural nail.
Important: This trick only works for a small adjustment and may not work. Never use boiling water, and don’t force the nail or you may damage it. If a nail is significantly too small, we recommend ordering a custom-sized set instead or slightly bigger set.
